Mark Harris is a Melbourne-based Producer and 1st Assistant Director. In 2013, he completed the Bachelor of Media Studies at La Trobe University and undertook the Warner Brothers Producing and Directing program at the University of Southern California. He has worked in festival management for the Melbourne 48 Hour Film Project, the Human Rights Arts and Film Festival, and La Trobe University’s “Short Flicks”.
A video producer for Sanspants Radio and an independent filmmaker, he has worked on such projects as “The Legend of Ben Hall” (2016, Running Panda Films), “Pretty Good Friends” (Best Feature Film, 2015 Made In Melbourne Film Festival), and “Happy Melancholy” (2014 Cannes Short Film Corner). His clients have included Creative Victoria, NAB, and the Real Estate Institute of Victoria. In 2016, he was selected as one of the Australian International Documentary Conference ACCESS Mentees.
